“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
Annual Youth Day a Success! (Scroll down to view the slide show)
Our annual Youth Day was a rousing success on Sunday, April 22, 2007. All of the boys, girls, young men and young women of Friendship Baptist Church donned in their black & white attire. They 'sang their hearts out,' under God's anointing, and in one accord. Thanks to everyone who supported the church obediently with your presence, and for obediently donating your portion financially to support our Youth Day event. We also thank Brother Robert Bond (keyboards), Brother Omar Flores (bass), Brother Wes Norris (drums). We also thank Bro. Robert Knight and Sister Eregbu (directors). We appreciate them all for their time & effort on a tremendous Youth Day workshop. It was a spiritually high time on Sunday. The Youth Lock-in also went well on Friday, April 20, 2007. We are still receiving 'kudos' for the delicious hot dogs, fun, and fellowship our youth and guests had. Special recognition goes out to Sister Eregbu (Youth Director), Rev. Frank Bell, and all our Youth Leaders.

We also thank all our visitors, Rev. Moses Ward (Des Moines) for delivering a rousing, powerful message to our Youth and congregation. This year's theme was: "Youth, Striving for Consistency in Christ" (Hebrews 10:23). Special thanks go out to Pastor Deland Myers and the New Birth Baptist Youth Choir for their participation. We really enjoyed the innocense of their youth, as they rendered 2 songs of praise. Also, 'hats off' to Sister Sarah Ross and our entire Kitchen & Hospitality Committees. This was yet another beautiful, historical day to remember at Friendship Baptist Church.

Youth Day 2007
Our Annual Youth Day was a total blessing on Sunday, April 22, 2007. The entire Youth of Friendship Baptist Church were in their black & white, and sang to the glory of God as a result of their hard work during the Youth Day Choir workshop that week. God was pleased!
